Black Matt Lupine Sculptures

Arne often came across the lupine flower during his many travels, but unfortunately the flower disappeared the closer he got to central Europe. The lupine flower can grow anywhere, is purple in colour and can grow up to 2m high. The lupine not only has an elegant appearance, but also encourages the plants around it to grow, the flower makes the soil around it more fertile for other plants.

This is exactly what Arne Quinze wants to create with these Black Matt Lupine Sculptures. The artist wants to plant a seed in the observer's mind to allow more green and nature into today's grey cities and into their daily lives.
