The leaves of Jasminoides are dark green, oval to lanceolate, shiny and sometimes turn a beautiful deep red in winter. From June onwards, this plant produces abundant and strongly scented, star-shaped white flowers in pendulous racemes. This process of transition of the plant between the different seasons is one that Arne Quinze follows very closely. The whirling transition from dusk to dazzling of the Jasminoides is also entirely visible on the canvas.
