Porrifolius, also known as Purple Morningstar, is a flower that can transform into different colours and textures in a single day. This purple flower blooms in the morning until the afternoon. After the flowering process, silky brown seed pods appear.
It is this diversity of nature that intrigues Arne Quinze. The artist takes nature as a constant source of inspiration for his works. The colours and textures that he finds there (especially in his own wildflower garden) are an energy and feeling that he wants to express on canvas.
