When painting his canvases, Arne Quinze is always rediscovering the energy he gets from his diverse wildflower garden. Quinze sees his plants as a dynamism on which we as humans should base our lives. For the artist, we live too far away from nature, which is why he wants his artwork to encourage the viewer to embrace nature's diversity and bring it back into their everyday lives.
The Trifolium flower has 3 leaves (trifoliate) and with its pink colour it is a favourite haunting for bumblebees. Just like in Arne Quinze's garden, bees, bumblebees and butterflies are part of the family.
