Urticifolia, a Wildflower Fields painting by Arne Quinze

Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium

Urticifolia, a Wildflower Fields painting

Arne Quinze wants to convey through his paintings that we as humans are a part of nature. Since the dramatic separation of man and nature that arose during the Industrial Revolution (late 1800s), Arne Quinze wants to contribute today to encourage the cohesion of nature and man.

We are a part of nature, but we have forgotten that, according to the artist. He wants to explain with his large paintings that we as humans should be parallel or even subservient to nature. That we should stop trying to control it and instead embrace nature more in our daily lives.
