Lupine Sculptures at Vila Vita Parc

In order to accentuate the fragile yet powerful features of the vibrant flora at the Vila Vita Parc resort in Porches, Arne Quinze created two monumental Lupine sculptures. At the one hand, Nymphaea, a sky blue-chromatic fountain aiming to emphasize the significance of water in our lives and urging to reestablish our vital bond with this precious resource. At the other hand, a Green Wild Lupine sculpture, crafted with an excavator and captivating the viewer with its striking blend of pronounced strength and delicate elegance, showcasing the immense power that nature exudes throughout its evolutionary growth.

Nymphaea, a monumental water sculpture

Nymphaea stands as a resounding call to action, urging us to embrace our intertwined destiny with water and reestablish a profound reverence for its significance in our lives. It serves as a powerful symbol of unity and a catalyst for change, reminding us to protect and cherish this life-sustaining element that flows through our veins and nurtures our planet.

Quinze's creation embodies his unrestrained imagination, envisioning a vivid landscape where humanity coexists harmoniously with the Earth, and freshwater flows abundantly for all. In this artwork, he confronts the harsh reality of our increasingly distant relationship with nature, reflecting a society immersed in industrialization and often disconnected from our roots. Through Nymphaea, Quinze emphasizes the profound value of water and urges us to reestablish our vital bond with this precious resource.

Green Wild Lupine Sculpture

Artist Arne Quinze's Green Lupine Sculpture captivates the viewer with its striking blend of pronounced strength and delicate elegance. Crafted with an excavator, the sculpture embodies the raw character of the Chroma lupine, showcasing the immense power that nature exudes throughout its evolutionary growth.

Despite its rugged appearance, the sculpture also encapsulates the captivating beauty that nature effortlessly presents. Quinze skillfully captures this essence through a remarkable visual technique, imbuing the artwork with an almost fragile, paper-folded quality. The monochromatic facade seamlessly merges with the surrounding environment, while subtle variations in hues emerge as sunlight dances upon its surface.

The Green Lupine Sculpture serves as a powerful testament to the duality of nature—its strength and resilience intertwined with its delicate allure. As viewers engage with this captivating artwork, they are invited to contemplate the intricate balance between power and fragility that exists in the natural realm.
